		<description>The workload never gets any easier. In between the lectures, PBL, studying and the compulsory alcohol abuse there is little time for a real social life. 

My only advice is to use your classmates. Not in a sponge answers off them and suck them dry until they can&#039;t bear the sight of you way, though. Make friends, do study groups, share resources, discuss cases, warn them of hard-ass consultants. Don&#039;t be one of the super-competitive, know-it-alls, you&#039;ll only hurt yourself in the end.

Reliable friends you can call at 2am in the morning to check the guidelines for admitting a patient are a godsend. I&#039;d be interested to know the differences in dynamics between American and Australian med students...</description>
