When I started this blog, I never really expected to have more than a few readers. I mean, I don’t actively promote my site, and I’m not incredibly proactive about posting all the time or anything like that. And while I have put a lot of work into the site, I never expected that anyone would notice or care. So, with that being said, it’s incredibly humbling and rewarding when someone recognizes my effort.
A blog post entitled “100 Blog Posts You Should Read Before Going to Med School” recently linked to two of my articles–my apparently infamous guide to not being a pre-med douchebag, and my more recent “are you ready for med school” post. I’m grateful to the blog’s author for including me in the list. It’s really nice to know I’m not just posting in a vacuum all the time.
I encourage all my premed and med-school readers to check out the article. There are tons of good articles linked from it. Someone has taken a lot of time and effort to scrounge together a good collection of articles related to med school, and for that, they should be applauded.
(Cue applause)

I stumbled onto your site from that list, and (coming from an undergrad FULL of pre-med douchebags) I really loved that post. My blog was on the list at number 48, and I was really surprised. I didn’t think anyone really read mine. It started when I wasn’t sure if I was gonna go to med school, so it was mostly about video games. Now it’s a mixture of both. I think wanting to be a pediatrician is really just an excuse to put video games in my office. Anyway, love the site.
